This weekend seventeenth season of The Ultimate Fighter will come to a close, as the finale goes down from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
This will be one of the first finales that features almost the entire cast on the card, other than Tor Troeng and Adam Cella who faced off at last weekends UFC on FUEL TV 9 card.
One notable fight on the card is a battle between Clint Hester and TUF 16 contestant Bristol Marunde.
UFC officials announced the match-up on Tuesday.
Hester (7-3) looked fantastic in his fight to get into the TUF house and was one of Team Jones’ big guns. Unfortunately he ran into Jimmy Quinlan and lost via submission in his elimination round match-up.
Marunde (15-7) was Shane Carwin’s second pick and won his first fight against Julian Lane. Marunde faced Neil Magny in the quarterfinals and lost a decision.
The TUF 17 Finale goes down this Saturday night from the Mandalay Bay Events Center, with the main event between Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen. The finals will go down as well between Team Sonnen’s Uriah Hall and Kelvin Gastelum.
