Matt Brown brutalizes Jordan Mein to continue winning streak

|

Jordan Mein stepped inside the cage for the second time in five weeks against Matt Brown who won a whopping four fights in 2012 and was looking to start off his 2013 the same way.

Brown began the round throwing some technical punches which seemed to land at will. He stunned Mein on numerous occasions and had him looking out of his element. With just under two minutes left in the first round, Mein landed a beautiful body kick which dropped Brown. It looked as if Brown had a triangle locked in place, but Mein worked his way free. The round ended with Brown landing numerous standing elbows.

Round two begins the same way the first did, with Brown taking the center of the octagon and landing some serious blows. Brown landed a big knee that put Mein on the canvas and finished the fight with punches and elbows to the body.

At the end of the day, Brown’s experience and skill prevailed.

Matt Brown def. Jordan Mein by TKO (Referee Stoppage) at 1:00 of Round 2

“I think Jordan’s hype was well deserved. He hurt me really bad with that body shot-I was really close to being incapacitated and unable to defend myself. I have no idea who I want next, but I think I deserve a fight that would put me in title contention. Every day I wake up and work as hard as I can. Some days you’re on and some days you’re off. I definitely woke up today.”
