Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva will have revenge on his mind when he steps into the Octagon at UFC 160. Hear why he thinks he’s ready to become the UFC heavyweight champ.
“Since I’ve been in the UFC, I’ve had many great opportunities. The first fight with Cain Velasquez, then the main event with Travis Browne. Then the fight with Overeem and now a fight for the belt. I am very thankful for the opportunity to get the belt. I can’t wait to get in there and I will take the belt. The key to this fight is being in great condition. Cain is used to fighting for five rounds. He’s very fast, so footwork is going to be important in this fight. I’ve got to be faster and lighter on my feet and still possess all my strength. All of those in combination will be my key to success. I have had two more fights now in the UFC. I’m more used to the crowd and everything that is the UFC. I won’t make the same mistakes I made in the first fight. I’ll be way more prepared for this fight. I will get the victory. I think about having the belt everyday; about being the champ. Seeing Dana put the belt around my waist, I know May 25th it will happen. I’m going to have the belt on me and keep it for a very long time.”
