Matt Riddle leaves Legacy FC, signs with Bellator MMA

|

Former UFC middleweight and TUF 7 competitor Matt Riddle has signed a deal with Bellator MMA.

At UFC on FUEL TV 7 Riddle defeated the always dangerous Che Mills by unanimous decision. However following his post-fight drug test he was released from the organization due to testing positive for or marijuana metabolites. This was Riddle’s second time being red-flagged for marijuana.

Almost immediately after being cut by the UFC Riddle signed a multi-fight deal with Legacy FC. According to Inside MMA, Riddle decided to take a deal with Bellator MMA instead.

Riddle had spent his entire MMA career inside the UFC and went 7-3 2NC.

Bellator MMA has not yet revealed the signing of Riddle or when he will make his promotional debut.
