EA Sports unveils new UFC video game for Xbox ONE

|

The much anticipated EA UFC game was displayed (sort of) at Tuesday’s “Xbox reveal” event in Redmond, Washington,  home of Microsoft.

EA Sports’ Andrew Wilson unveiled the new “Ignite” game engine which will bring players a brand new feel for the companies new and existing franchises.

During the EA presentation, a clip was shown of UFC fighters Jon Jones and Anthony Pettis talking about the fight game. Also talking about their respective sports were Lionel Messi, Robert Griffin III and Kyrie Irving.

Unfortunately,  no game-play footage of the new EA UFC game was shown, however we were treated to a sneak peak of Anthony Pettis’  famous “Showtime Kick” against Benson Henderson from their WEC match. However this time the kick happened in the UFC’s Octagon.

No release date was announced for the game, however it is not expected until after April 2014. Fans are hoping to get more of a glimpse of the game at the E3 expo in Los Angeles, Calif., which is less than three weeks away.
