Karlos Vemola’s wrestling credentials are in doubt

Bloody Elbow is reporting that evidence has come to light that casts doubt on the six national wrestling championships that UFC middleweight Karlos Vemola claims to have won between the ages of 10 and 16.  Firstly, the Czech wrestling federation does not have any records prior to 2001.  Additionally, for the years 2001 and 2002, when Vemola would have competed as a 16 year-old, there are on records of him even placing in his age group.

MMASucka will have more on this story as it develops.
