Having been a staple in the Asian MMA scene since 2001, Japan-based DEEP held its ‘Cage Impact 2013’ event this past Saturday at the Korakuen Hall situated in Tokyo, Japan.
The main event saw Doo Ho Choi (11-1) and Shoji Maruyama (12-9-1) excite the audience with their continuous knockdowns as both 145-lbs fighters put on a show from the get-go.
Ryuta Sakurai, in the meantime, needed just 0:64s to finish his opponent in the night’s co-main event. He improves to 24-17-6, while his opponent, Yuji Sakuraji (14-21-2, 1 NC), slumps to a 2-fight losing streak.
