A battle in the featherweight division was expected between Conor McGregor and Andy Ogle at UFC on FOX Sports 1. Unfortunately Ogle has been forced off the FS1 card for undisclosed reasons. Stepping in for Ogle is the 21-year old Hawaiian Max Holloway.

Andy Ogle injured, Max Holloway in against Conor McGregor at UFC on FS1
Holloway (7-2) came in to the UFC as a 4-0 prodigy. He lost his first bout with the organization to Dustin Poirier, but followed up with three wins in a row. Most recently “Blessed” lost a controversial split decision against Dennis Bermudez at UFC 160 in May.
McGregor (13-2) has not lost a fight since 2010 and is currently riding a nine-fight winning streak. In his UFC debut, the Irish native made an impression as he TKO’d Marcus Brimage at UFC on FUEL TV 9 in April.
The two 145-pound both bring a flashy striking game to the Octagon, so this fight should definitely be a fan favorite.
UFC on FOX Sports 1 is expected to take place at the TD Gardens in Boston, Mass. on August 17. The main event will be in the light heavyweight division, as Chael Sonnen squares off against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. A heavyweight match-up between Alistair Overeem and Travis Browne has also been announced for the Boston card.
