UFC 163 took over the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this past Saturday night.  In the main event, hometown hero Jose Aldo defeated Chan Sung Jung by fourth-round TKO to defend his featherweight.  The Korean Zombie dislocated his shoulder during a striking exchange with the champion.  Aldo took full advantage of this injury by taking the fight to the ground and finishing Jung with a flurry of strikes.

Also on the card, Phil Davis was awarded a controversial decision over former light heavyweight champion, Lyoto Machida.  Machida looked to have the edge in the striking exchanges, but not enough to convince the judges as Davis finished rounds 1 and 2 with a takedown and ground and pound.  All three judges had the fight 29-28 for Davis.
