On Saturday August 17, 2013 an all new, all sports channel will launch. FOX Sports 1 will launch with over six-hours of UFC content.

The station will air its first live UFC event beginning at 3pm PT/6pm ET and will feature 10 fights including a six-fight main card.
For many, the SPEED Network will change over to FS1 first thing Saturday morning.
The fight card on Saturday night entitled UFC Fight Night 26 will go down from the TD Gardens in Boston, Mass. and will be headlined by Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Chael Sonnen. Also featured on the card is a heavyweight showdown between Alistair Overeem and Travis Browne.
