Former UFC middleweight title contender Yushin Okami has been signed by Las Vegas based fight promotion World Series of Fighting.
The signing was announced on Sunday by WSOF President Ray Sefo.

Okami (29-8) was once tagged by UFC president Dana White as “the best fighter to ever come out of Japan”. He was since last seen losing to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza by TKO at UFC Fight Night 28. Prior to that, Okami was on a three-fight winning streak with wins over Buddy Roberts, Alan Belcher, and Hector Lombard. The one time title contender’s UFC record stands at 13-5.
