The victory came however, with controversy.

The first round saw Dolloway use his reach effectively, as he launched hooks, jabs, etc. to keep Boetsch at bay. “The Barbarian” in the meantime, found success on the inside, landing multiple hard shots in an attempt to finish the fight.

Dolloway had a solid second round showing, landing two takedowns. But in the third, he was penalized for consecutive eye pokes, eventually forcing the referee to take away a point. Boetsch looked great for large periods of the last frame, effectively ending the fight on a high note.

In the end, Tim Boestsch did enough in the judges’ eyes, as he swept the score cards with a Unanimous Decision victory. It was, however, controversial, as members of the socials media felt that CB Dolloway should have gotten the nod despite the point deduction.
