Last Friday night (October 18) XFC brought the action to the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee for XFC 26.

XFC 26 Night of Champions III: The Aftermath

The fight card which was entitled ‘Night of Champions III’ had two title fights on the card in both the main and co-main event. The vacant women’s flyweight title was up for grabs in the co-main event as Pearl Gonzalez and Cortney Casey went to battle. Casey looked to have Gonzalez all but done after two rounds, but held on and wound up taking home the gold with a late third round armbar.

Scott Holtzman put his lightweight title up for grabs for the very first time against Roger Carroll in the night’s main event. While Carroll seemed like a game opponent, Holtzman was able to have his way with him for the entire five rounds and sweep all three of the judges scorecards to retain his title.

Other notable bouts:

Jason Hicks came out swinging for the fences and Deivison Ribeiro did not want any of this. He stayed patient for nearly the entire first round before landing a bomb which knocked Hicks out.

A beautiful headkick by Luis Santos finished Justin Davis in just 33-seconds to earn him his fourth victory in a row.
