PXC 41 will be the Pacific X-Treme Combat’s final event of the calendar year. It’s set to take place on November 9 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City, Philippines. As with previous events, fans around the globe can catch all the action LIVE online at this link.

Previously announced match-ups for PXC 41 include a Flyweight title headliner pitting reigning champ Ale Cali (5-1) against challenger Louis Smolka (4-0), Crisanto Pitpitunge (5-2) vs. Russell Doane (10-2) at Bantamweight and a 155-lbs clash between Frank Camacho (11-2) and Seung Hwan Bang (16-7).

Striegl, Nelson and Nakamura among others announced for November’s PXC 41

Now, four stellar match-ups have been added to the fight card, including the return of top contender Mark Striegl, and the promotional debuts of former UFC vet Shane Nelson and Japanese MMA staple Keita Nakamura.

Team Buffet’s Mark Striegl (12-1) needs no introductions. The Filipino-American is one of Asia’s top fighters, tipped by many to make it to the UFC’s famed octagon one day. Striegl, though, suffered the first setback of his career in the main event of PXC 39, dropping a shock Unanimous Decision defeat against Jang Yong Kim in a 145-lbs title match-up. The 25-year-old will be looking to bounce back and brush off all critics’ claims that he isn’t ready for the big show, by putting his submission skills to good use again come fight night on November 9.

He’s set to take on New Zealand’s Ev Ting (5-2) for the second time. The first meeting between the two fighters took place under the Legend FC banner at Legend FC 7, and it was Striegl who reigned victorious on that occasion with a first round Rear-Naked Choke. With notable wins over Striegl’s team-mate Will Chope and Rolando Gabriel Dy, Ting will be expecting for a turn in fortunes this time around when he makes his PXC debut.

Shane Nelson (15-7) is 3-2 in his post-Zuffa stint. The Honolulu, Hawaii native went 2-2 in the UFC before being future endeavored. With a resume that includes bouts with the likes of Harris Sarmiento, George Roop, Aaron Riley and Matt Wiman, the 28-year-old brings a ton of experience to his promotional debut. He will, however, be planning to snap his current 2-fight losing skid.

Keita Nakamura (26-5-2), meanwhile, has been a veteran in the global MMA scene for over a decade. A professional since 2003, the 29-year-old has fought in a myriad of promotions, most notably Shooto, the UFC, DREAM, Legend FC and Vale Tudo Japan. On a 10-1 run with victories over the aforementioned Jang Yong Kim, Yasubey Enomoto and ONE FC’s 170-lbs contender Nobutatsu Suzuki, Nakamura is undoubtedly one of PXC’s most prolific signings to date, and fans will most certainly be looking forward to see the Japanese fighter strut his skills inside the PXC cage on November 9.

Other announced match-ups include Team Lakay’s Troy Bantiag (5-2) vs. Johnny Pecyna (1-3) at Bantamweight, and Jinel Lausa (2-1) vs. Ernesto Montilla Jr. (2-2) at 125-lbs.
