At the turn of the year, the Ultimate Fighting Championship stages its first event in South East Asia. The luxurious Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, will have the distinct honor of welcoming the world’s famous octagon to a territory that’s pretty much still new to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.

This of course comes as part of the promotion’s efforts to spread its product throughout the Asian region, and with an event that was held in Macau in November of last year, fans can expect the UFC to make more detours outside the North American and European borders in the near future.
