This past week ‘EA Sports UFC’ launched their cover vote tournament to see which fighter would grace the cover with UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
In the first round fans were asked to vote between, Urijah Faber vs. Michael Bisping, Anthony Pettis vs. Demetrious Johnson, Georges St-Pierre vs. Chris Weidman, Jose Aldo vs. Benson Henderson, Johny Hendricks vs.Dominick Cruz, Alexander Gustafsson vs. Daniel Cormier, Junior dos Santos vs. Chael Sonnen and Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate.
Round 2 of the EA Sports UFC cover vote begins; Tate upsets Rousey in the first round
With each and every fighter posting on every social media outlet they could, the winners prevailed on Monday.
The TUF 18 coaches went head-to-head, as Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey squared off in a battle in Round 1. Unlike their first meeting inside the Strikeforce cage, Tate prevailed and upset Rousey in the virtual world.
Round 2 voting will run until November 17.
Match-ups in Round 2 include,St-Pierre vs. Hendricks, Pettis vs. Aldo, Sonnen vs. Bisping and Gustafsson vs. Tate.
Fans can cast their second round votes for at http://www.ufc.com/covervote.
