Trujillo (11-5-1) has fought Roger Bowling in back-to-back fights. At UFC Fight Night 27 the two scrapped to a no-contest because Trujillo landed an illegal knee and Bowling was unable to continue. The rematch happened at UFC on FOX 9 with the “Blackzillian” winning via second round TKO.

Green (22-5) is undefeated inside the Octagon at 3-0 and is currently riding a seven fight winning streak. Most recently Green picked up the biggest win of his career, as he battered Pat Healy at UFC on FOX 9.

The Trujillo vs. Green match will take place on the night’s preliminary portion of the fight card.

UFC 169 goes down on February 1, 2014 at the Prudential Center at Newark, N.J. The main event will feature a bantamweight title fight between Dominick Cruz and Renan Barao. Also on the card, the featherweight title is up for grabs, as Jose Aldo takes on Ricardo Lamas.
