World Series of Fighting’s 8th card may have just filled out a little bit more. It has been reported that Bellator veteran Valdir Araujo will be taking on Tyler Stinson when the promotion makes it’s return to Hollywood, FL on January 18th.
An anonymous source released the information to MMAJunkie earlier today.
Valdir Araujo and Tyler Stinson rumored to be fighting at WSOF 8
Valdir “BBMonster” Araujo (14-4) has been fighting for 5 years now, and has racked up wins all across the eastern US. The MMA Masters product, who trains with people like the UFC’s Amanda Nunes, is currently on a 3 fight winning streak. “BBMonster” was last seen choking out Romario Manoel da Silva at CFA 12, and has shown himself to be a well-rounded fighter. Will he make a splash with a win over Stinson?
Tyler “The Evolution” Stinson (25-9) has rebounded nicely after a disastrous stint in Strikeforce that saw him go 0-2 against Tarec Saffiedine and Jordan Mein. Currently on a 2 fight winning streak, the Grudge Training Center knockout artist was last found starching Rob Kimmons in the main event of the first Epic Fight Nights card. Will he be able to strike his way into the WSOF welterweight scene with a win over Araujo?
