Fivestar Fight League 11 heads to Fort St. John for “Homecoming” on April 25

Fivestar Fight League will hold their eleventh event in their own back yard of Fort St. John and it will be appropriately titled “Homecoming.”

The organization has had fight cards all over Western Canada for the past year and will finally be putting on a show where their offices and training facility are located. This will help the budding homegrown athletes get an opportunity to fight in front of their hometown crowd.

The promotion does charity work and supports the local communities wherever they bring their shows and Fivestar will look to go above and beyond what the gym and office normally do on a daily basis and show Fort St. John what they can really do.

The headlining bout in what will be FFL’s biggest show in the promotions young history is current FFL Middleweight Champion and hometown boy Brad Stewart defending his title against Cody Krahn.

Stewart (6-2) is riding a two-fight winning streak. At Fivestar Fight League 2 he beat Jordan Beercroft and in May 2013 at Fivestar Fight League 6 he triangle choked Matt Baker.

Krahn (14-8) is coming off a huge knockout win at MFC 39 against Clay Davidson. Currently on a three-fight winning streak, he will look to keep the ball rolling against Stewart in his second appearance in the Fivestar cage.

This card will also feature FFL Heavyweight Champion Craig Hudson, Featherweight Champion Shawn Albrecht, as well as UFC veterans Kalib Starnes & Tim Hague.

A slew of local talent will also be featured on this card which include,
