Three amateur titles up for grabs at BFL 28

Battlefield Fight League 28 will go down in March and the company has announced that three amateur titles are up for grabs at the event. Achilles Estremadura and Eli Wyse will do battle for the vacant lightweight strap. While Craig Mclean will look to defend his bantamweight gold against Oliver Vajda. Finally Curtis Harriot will take on Bryce Gougeon for the vacant welterweight title.

Three amateur titles up for grabs at BFL 28

Estremadura (5-0) has fought all but one of his bouts inside the BFL cage and won them in dominating fashion. He has finished his last three opponents via vicious knockout. Wyse (6-4) is always a fan favorite when he enters the cage and he will be looking to pick up his fourth win under the BFL banner.

Mclean (6-2) has fought six times for BFL and this will be his first title defense. The Revolution Fight Team product won the title at BFL 26 in a hard fought battle against Kirk Tse. Vajda (9-1) lost for the very first time to featherweight champion Oren Hanscomb and will now make the cut to bantamweight. Even though he was productive in the featherweight division and will now drop to 135-pounds and get his shot at gold.

Harriot (5-1) last fought at BFL 25, where he picked up a big first round knockout against Wan Allard. He has gone 5-0 since his first bout at BFL 14. Gougeon (6-3-1) beat James Foster in a three round war at BFL 27 and is 3-3 inside the Battlefield cage.
