Titan Fighting Championship has been on a signing spree and it continues with light heavyweight Vinny Magalhães.
Vinny Magalhães signs multi-fight deal with Titan FC
Titan FC CEO Jeff Aronson news of the signing to MMASucka.com on Thursday.
Magalhães (10-7 1NC) started his career as a grappling specialist at a very young age and then broke in to the world of MMA in 2006. He was a cast member on season 8 of The Ultimate Fighter and made it to the finals where he was defeated by Ryan Bader. He lost his sophomore bout in the UFC to Eliot Marshall and was subsequently released.
“Pezao” went on to go 8-1 with numerous organizations, including winning and defending the M-1 Global light heavyweight championship. That record earned him another cracked at the UFC, unfortunately he lost both his fights to Phil Davis and Anthony Perosh.
Magalhães’ contract is a five-fight deal and he will debut on Titan FC’s April fight card.
