Titan FC signs Marcus LeVesseur and Walel Watson to a multi-fight deal
LeVesseur (22-7) amassed a 21-5 record before being signed by the UFC. He made his UFC debut against Cody McKenzie and wound up getting guillotined in the very first round. In his next appearance he won a split decision against Carlo Prater and was released from the organization after a loss to Abel Trujillo in December 2012.
LeVesseur has won four NCAA Division III individual national titles, and was a member of two teams that won national championships. He will look to utilize his skills inside the TFC cage.
Watson (11-7) entered the UFC with an 8-2 record, but unfortunately went 1-3 inside the Octagon. In his debut with the company he finished Joseph Sandoval by first round TKO, but followed up with three straight losses. Since being released from the promotion “The Gazelle” has gone 2-2 with some regional promotions.
The Team Hurricane Awesome product has always been a fan favorite and I’m sure he will bring that to the Titan FC organization.
Watson is expected to make his promotional debut at Titan FC’s April event, while LeVesseur will debut in either late May or June.
Along with these two signings, Titan FC has also recently signed Vinny Magalhães, Jeff Curran and Dave Herman.
