Trio of bouts added to ROAD FC – Korea 003

April’s ROAD FC – Korea 003 line-up has three new additions.

Along with a previously announced headlining match-up between A Sol Kwon and Giovanni Diniz, officials today confirmed with MMASucka.com that match-ups including Thiago Silva (5-2) vs. Moon Jae-Hoon (5-5), Bruno Miranda (5-2) vs. Kim Won-Gi (1-4-1) and Ham Seo-Hee (12-5) vs. Shino Vanhoose (3-2) have been slated into the running order as well.

ROAD FC – Korea 003 takes place April 6th at the Grand Hilton Convention Centre in Seoul, South Korea. The entire event is expected to be carried on the USTREAM platform.

This third installment of the ‘ROAD FC – Korea’ series will have yet another ‘Nations Fight’ title in place, this time with a ‘Korea vs. Brazil’ theme in place.

The Brazilians will be the invited representatives to face ROAD FC’s Korean fighters this time around. This, however, won’t be the first time that Brazilians take center stage under the promotion’s banner. Top Brazilians such as Roan Carneiro, Luis Ramos and Andrews Nakahara have strut their skills in the ROAD FC cage in previous events.

Baixinho Team’s Thiago Silva is on a two-fight win streak, and is 3-2 in his past five outings. The Rio de Janeiro native will bring a very tough and well-rounded game to his South Korean adversary, Moon Jae-Hoon.

Moon Jae-Hoon steps up to the task with a stand up game that has impressed the masses. Moon, who holds a key victory over former ONE FC champ Soo Chul Kim, fights for the first time since being eliminated from the promotion’s inaugural Bantamweight tournament.

Bruno Miranda scored five straight victories before suffering the first setback of his career in August last year. The 23-year-old, has an all-round MMA facet and represents the next wave of MMA fighters coming out of Brazil.

Despite being known for delivering non-stop excitement in his fights, Kim Won-Gi looks to get back on the win column on a string of three consecutive losses. He appeared in the inaugural installment of ‘ROAD FC – Korea’ in January, where he dropped a first round TKO defeat against Yoon-Jun Lee.

Korea’s premiere female MMA athlete, Ham Seo-Hee, finally makes her ROAD FC debut. The DEEP JEWELS champ is a Team M.A.D. prodigy and is widely recognized for her consistent performances against top ranked fighters.

Shino Vanhoose, meanwile, is an up-and-coming fighter who is considered a future superstar. She made her pro debut at just 16-years-old in PANCRASE, and has to date, amassed a total of five fights in her resume.

The updated ROAD FC – Korea 003 fight card now includes:

  • Kwon A-Sol vs. Giovanni Diniz
  • Ham Seo-Hee vs. Shino Vanhoose
  • Moon Jae-Hoon vs. Thiago Silva
  • Kim Won-Gi vs. Bruno Miranda
