Jose “Pele” Landi-Jons expected to take on Matt Riddle at Titan FC 29

|

A welterweight fight between Jose “Pele” Landi-Jons and Matt Riddle is set to go down at Titan FC 29 in May.

Titan FC officials confirmed the match-up with MMASucka.com on Tuesday.

Landi-Jons (28-15) has not fought since November of last year, when he finished Rodrigo Fernandez via TKO in the very first round at PFE /Samurai FC 10.  The 40-year old has been in the fight game officially since 1993, but plenty of his fights are not on his official record.

Riddle (8-3, 2NC) was released from the UFC after a failed drug test following a victory over Che Mills. He went on to fight his first bout outside of the Octagon at Titan FC 27 in February and finished Michael Kuiper via guillotine choke in the second round.

No word as to when Titan FC 29 will go down or the venue, but keep it locked to MMASucka.com for info on this as it arises.

The next event will be Titan FC 28 on April 25 from an unknown location and venue, however there are a number of fights announced. Those fights include Ricky Legere vs. Todd Moore, Dave Herman vs. D.J. Linderman, Jason Brilz vs. Vinny Magalhaes and Brock Jardine vs. Daniel Roberts.
