After a controversial fight, Facebook and Twitter both erupt with fans giving their opinions. Whether it’s because of the judging, or even if UFC President Dana White made a statement the pundits didn’t like.

Well, that’s where our latest column comes in to play. We give you the fan an opportunity to voice your opinion right on the front page of MMASucka.com. We will give you three questions and you give the best, honest answer you can.

This edition’s fan is one of the biggest we’ve seen on Twitter. He is always tweeting to the fighters, Dana White and of course us. His name is Trevor Morgan and most of you probably know him as @ufcvancouverbc.

Without further ado, “A pundits take on MMA”:

1. What is one rule you would change from the current MMA ruleset?

The number one rule I would change in MMA is the draw. Too many fighters in the sport just like to play it safe and leave it up to the judges. If a fight ends in a draw, there should be some type of extra time, like all the other major sports. Possibly another sudden death 3-5 minute round.

People hate paying huge money on fight tickets, plane and hotel tickets to end up seeing a draw. If the judges had an open scoring system this might stop this completely.

2. What are your thoughts on TRT? And do you think older fighters will be able to survive without it?

I am totally against TRT and have always thought it should be banned. Three of my favourite fighters of all-time, Chael Sonnen, Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson will probably suffer from the banning of TRT.

Yes, age is one thing that catches up on all if us; it’s reality. You get injured easier and your reflexes start to slow down; it’s part of life, deal with it.

Why should these older fighters be allowed to have an advantage over the hungry younger generation. Take a look at Vitor Belfort pre-TRT and then look at him now — he looks twice the size.

If MMA wants to be known as a mainstream sport, they have to be serious about the drug testing. A great example is how MLB is suspending and banning players like Alex Rodriguez and Barry Bonds for using steroids.

3. What is your take on a fighter showing outward signs of their religion before or after the fight?

I have no problems with fighters paying respect to their religion, as long as it’s not over the top like WWE. I have no problem if a fighter wants to wear a cross for a necklace or have tattoos showing respect to the religion they follow. As long as the fighter doesn’t curse or swear bad stuff I’m ok with it. Vitor Belfort and Diego Sanchez are two bad ass fighters, yet they pay respect to Jesus all the time in their interviews and post fight speeches.
