UFC 172 Post-Fight Bonuses: Gomi, Vallie-Flagg, Benavidez and Beal take home $50k

Takanori Gomi, Isaac Vallie-Flagg, Joseph Benavidez and Chris Beal are all $50,000 richer.

UFC President Dana White announced the post-fight bonuses at the UFC 172 post-fight press conference.

Gomi and Vallie-Flagg earned ‘Fight of the Night’ for their three round war. The fight was a back and forth battle with Gomi earning the judges nods in the end.

Benavidez and Beal took home ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses for their submission and knockout victories. The Team Alpha Male product was in a tough spot early in the first round, but was able to lock up a crazy guillotine choke to finish Tim Elliott with his feet. Beal stole the show right from the very get go, with what White called one of the best flying knees in the UFC. After a back and forth first round, Beal finished Patrick Williams in the second.
