Titan FC 29 will be held at the Crown Coliseum in Fayettville, NC on August 22nd and the event will be headlined by a five round welterweight title bout between UFC veterans Ben Saunders and Matt Riddle. Titan FC 29 will mark the promotional debut for Saunders and will be Riddle’s second fight for the organization. The 28-year-old Riddle defeated Michael Kuiper via guillotine choke in the co-main event of Titan FC 27.
Titan FC 29 adds Ricci vs. Sotiropoulos, Bronzoulis vs. Johnson and Escudero vs. Brooks
In the co-main event of the evening, Mike Ricci, who defeated Jorge Gurgel by 1st round TKO in the main event of Titan FC 27, will face George Sotiropoulos in a lightweight bout. Sotiropoulos will be making his Titan FC debut and will be fighting for the first time since of October of 2013.

Two other bouts announced thus far for Titan FC 29 will see Mike Bronzoulis take on Keith Johnson in a battle of welterweights. Bronzoulis was a finalist on the Bellator reality show, Fight Master, ultimately losing to Joe Riggs. Johnson sports a 9-3 record and is on a four fight winning streak.
Recently signed Ultimate Fighter season 8 winner Efrain Escudero will make his Titan FC debut when he faces EJ Brooks in a lightweight tilt.
More bouts are being scheduled and will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
The relationship between A Hero USA and Titan began at Titan FC 28 and will continue at Titan FC 29 and Titan FC 30. At Titan FC 28, A Hero USA founder Lee Stuckey and several wounded veterans were seated ringside and offered VIP treatment which included all access passes and signed gear. The A Hero USA logo will be featured on the canvas at both upcoming events.
Stuckey and a group of wounded veterans from nearby Fort Bragg will be attending Titan FC 29. Titan FC will also provide MMA training opportunities and appearances with the Titan FC athletes.
