Anthony Johnson is rising steadily up the Light Heavyweight ranks and on Saturday night in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 12, famed 205-pounder Antonio Rogerio Nogueira became his latest victim.

Johnson finished the grizzled 38-year-old veteran in less than a minute, and did so in devastating fashion.

Both fighters came out casually within the first few seconds but as soon as Johnson tagged Nogueira with his first shots, the latter backed up against the cage. This called for Johnson to pour on an onslaught of violent strikes and uppercuts and a few seconds later, ‘Lil’ Nog was all on fours, with blood trickling down his face.

Final Result: Anthony Johnson def. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira via TKO (Punches) at 0:44 of Round 1
