Bellator officials confirmed the change on Friday.

Rogers (16-8-1) is a veteran of the Bellator MMA cage. He dropped two fights in 2013 and bounced back in May of 2014 with a vicious flying knee knockout over Adrian Miles. 9 finishes in 11 wins, Rogers seemed to be a legitimate threat to the Bellator middleweight title, and a win over another top contender in Cooper would certainly make people take notice.

Cooper (21-9) is a two-time Bellator tournament finalist who has dropped 3 of his last 4. Coming off a quick submission loss to Brandon Halsey, Cooper was coming off of a nasty second round knockout over UFC veteran Kendall Grove.

This bout has been confirmed as the co-main event of Bellator 125.

Bellator 125 takes place on Friday, September 19th at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.
