Although UFC 177 wasn’t a stacked card on paper, it ended up being a fun night of fights.
UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw was set to rematch Renan Barao but the former champion was forced to pull out only an hour before the weigh-ins because he passed out while cutting weight. Joe Soto, the biggest underdog in UFC history filled in for Barao a day before the event. Although he came out unsuccessful, he has gained respect from lots of the MMA community because him and Dillashaw actually had a competitive fight, which no one expected.
