Shamhalaev and two others sign with Titan FC

 

Titan Fight Championships has made 3 new signings in the form of Shabulat Shamhalaev, Desmond Green and Sean Santella.

Titan FC president and CEO Jeff Aronson broke the news to MMAFighting.com on Tuesday.

Shamhalaev (12-3-1) is a veteran of the Bellator cage and was recently released by the promotion. 3-2 in his last five, he was defeated by Fabricio Guerreiro in the first round at Bellator 120 in May. Prior to that he fought Pat Curran for the Bellator featherweight title. He went on to lose this one by first round submission as well. Before these two losses he had not lost in his last 11 fights, only going the distance twice.

Green (11-3) is also seasoned in the Bellator featherweight division. Two 24 year old up-and-comer is also 3-2 in his last 5, and is currently on a 1-fight skid. In his last outing, he lost to Daniel Weichel via submission in round 2 in the featherweight tournament final at Bellator 119 in May. He got to the finals by defeating Mike Richman and Will Martinez, both of which via decision. He lost his promotional debut to Fabricio Guerreiro and made up for it by bouncing back and beating Angelo Sanchez via TKO.

Santella (13-4) is a former Cage Fury FC flyweight champion. He lost the title to Nick Honstein in April. Prior to this he had won five in a row within the promotion. In his 13 wins, 9 of them have been finishes. All of which via submission.

No  fighter has a Titan FC debut announced as of right now.
