Undefeated featherweight prospect Charles Rosa has signed with the UFC and will make his debut against Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 53.

Rosa (9-0) comes into the UFC on a nine-fight undefeated winning streak. He turned pro in August 2013 and has already amassed an amazing nine fights. Most recently Rosa finished Jake Constant by first round armbar at CES MMA 25 in August.
The 28-year-old has yet to go to a decision in his professional MMA career, with six submissions and three TKO’s.
Robert Whiteford was originally expected to fight Siver and was replaced just days ago by Taylor Lapilus. According to MMAViking.com, SMMAF President Johan Halldin never approved Lapilus to face Siver.
Siver (21-9-1) is a world class kickboxer who has went 2-1-1 since dropping down from lightweight to featherweight. In his first two outings, he looked more powerful than ever beating Diego Nunes, and dominating Nam Phan en route to a score card of 30-26, 30-25 and 30-24. Following those two fights he would get stopped by Cub Swanson and would rebound with a decision win over Manny Gamburyan, which would later get overturned due to a failed drug test on Siver’s end.
UFC Fight Night 53 goes down on October 4 from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm. The main event is a welterweight bout between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story.
