The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale gets it’s 2nd fight as featherweights Jeremy Stephens meets Charles ‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira in the co-main event.
UFC officials confirmed the bout on Tuesday.
Stephens (23-10) is a veteran of the UFC, clocking in at 19 fights with the promotion. He dropped from lightweight to featherweight in May of 2013 an amassed a 3-fight win streak with dominant decision wins over Darren Elkins and Estevan Payan, with a brutal knockout of Rony Jason in between those two decision victories. Since beating Elkins, Stephens dropped a decision to Cub Swanson in June of this year. The fight would earn fight of the night honors.
Oliveira (18-4-1) is currently on a 2-fight win streak, featuring submission victories over Andy Ogle and Hatsu Hioki. Both of these wins would earn him a performance of the night bonus. Prior to his current streak, Oliveira dropped two in a row to future opponents Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson, the latter via knockout.
The bout will be the evenings co-main event, second to the women’s strawweight title bout.
The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale is set to take place at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 12.
