A welterweight match-up between Erick Silva and Mike Rhodes is set for UFC Fight Night 58 in Brazil.
UFC officials announced the match-up on Tuesday morning.
Erick Silva vs Mike Rhodes set for UFC Fight Night 58
Silva (16-5, 1NC) is coming off a TKO loss to Matt Brown at UFC Fight Night 40 in May. Over his last eight fights, the Brazilian has bounced back and forth between wins and losses.
Rhodes (6-3) has gone 0-2 under the UFC banner. However was 6-1 coming into the organization, with his lone loss to Brandon Thatch. Most recently “Biggie” lost to Robert Whittaker in June.
No word as to where the welterweight bout will take place on the UFC Fight Night 58 fight card.
UFC Fight Night 58 takes place in Barueri, Brazil on Dec. 20. It is headlined by a middleweight fight, Lyoto Machida vs. CB Dollaway.
