A welterweight match-up between John Howard and Lorenz Larkin is set for UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Monday afternoon.
Howard (22-10) returned to the UFC in 2013 and won his first two bouts against Uriah Hall and Siyar Bahadurzada. In 2014, the Boston native has come up on the losing end of the judges scorecards on two occasions, against Ryan LaFlare and Brian Ebersole.
Larkin (14-4, 1NC) is riding the first losing streak of his career, at three-fights. Since January, he fell short to Brad Tavares, Costas Philippou and most recently Derek Brunson. Larkin was a rising prospect when he came over to the UFC, but has not lived up to expectations. Since signing with the organization in April 2013, he has gone 1-4.
UFC Fight Night 59 takes place at the TD Garden in Boston on Jan. 18, 2015. It is headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver and co-headlined by Benson Henderson vs. Eddie Alvarez. Other than these four fights, no others have been announced. The event is expected to air live and free on FOX Sports 1.
