A featherweight match-up between Sabah Fadai and Tim Tamaki has been tapped for Havoc FC 7 in December.
MMASucka.com learned of the bout from sources close to both fighters.
Sabah Fadai takes on Tim Tamaki at Havoc FC 7
Fadai (9-4) has been looking for an opponent for over 10-months without much luck. He is coming off a big second round TKO at UCL 20 against Andrew Bard. The Chilliwack, B.C. native was riding a two-fight losing skid coming into his latest victory, with one of those losses being against the toughest test of his career — Nick Newell at WSOF 7. Fadai has not set foot inside the cage or ring since that UCL 20 victory in February.
Tamaki (17-26) is riding a two-fight winning streak, however those two fights were almost exactly one-year apart from each other. Most recently, “The Chin” defeated Lupe Hudgens via third round knockout at Rumble in the Cage 50. Despite the lopsided record, Tamaki has fought some of Canada’s best including: Mukai Maromo, Adam Lorenz and Thierry Quenneville.
The Fadai vs. Tamaki bout will take place on the Havoc FC 7 main card.
Havoc FC 7 goes down on December 19 from the Sheraton Hotel in Red Deer, Alberta. The main event was expected to be John Alessio vs. Derek Boyle, however Alessio was forced to withdraw from the bout due to injury. The co-main event is a middleweight bout between Jordan McKay and. Andrew Buckland.
