UFC officials announced the matchup on Sunday via the @UFCNews Twitter account.

Barboza (15-2) is currently riding a two-fight win streak with a stoppage win over Evan Dunham and most recently, the biggest win of his career, a lopsided decision win against Bobby Green.  He started off the year with a quick submission loss to top five lightweight, Donald Cerrone.

Johnson (15-8) has picked up the biggest wins of his career in the past two years, currently riding a three-fight win streak.  He defeated Joe Lauzon by decision and finished Gleison Tibau in 2013, and his lone fight of 2014 was a decision win against now-WSOF fighter Melvin Guillard.

The matchup is set as the co-main event of the evening.

UFC Fight Night 61 takes place live from the Ginasio Gigantinho in Porto Alegre, Brazil on Feb. 22, 2015.  Headlining the event is a pivotal light heavyweight matchup between former titleholder Rashad Evans and Glover Teixeira.
