Rampage-Maldonado, Bisping-Dollaway and Cote-Riggs announced for UFC 186

UFC President Dana White announced the news on TSN Saturday evening.

Rampage (35-11) was re-signed by the UFC in December after a brief stint with Bellator MMA. Since leaving the UFC, Jackson went 3-0 under the Bellator banner, with his latest victory being a decision win against Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal. Maldonado (22-7) is coming off a second round TKO against Hans Stringer at UFC 179 in October.

Bisping (25-7) has flopped back and forth with wins and losses since the beginning of 2012. Most recently he lost to Luke Rockhold via submission. Dollaway (15-6) earned himself the biggest fight of his career against Lyoto Machida, however an early kick to the body forced him to succumb and lose his latest fight in the main event at UFC Fight Night 58.

Cote (20-9) is coming off a decision loss to Stephen Thompson at UFC 178 in September. Prior to that bout he was on a three-fight winning streak dating back to mid-2012. Riggs (40-15, 1NC) made his return to the UFC in December at UFC on FOX 13, where he lost via neck injury in the first round against Ben Saunders.

UFC 186 goes down on April 25 from the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec. In the main event, the flyweight championship is on the line, as T.J. Dillashaw squares off with Renan Barao in a rematch. Also announced for the fight card is a welterweight showdown between Rory MacDonald and Hector Lombard.
