UFC Fight Night 59 is in the books, and even though it was on a Sunday night, it’d be a shame if you didn’t see the live event.

In the main event, the hype train of Irish superstar Conor McGregor remained on the tracks, as he picked up his fifth win in the Octagon, a second round TKO over top 10 featherweight Dennis Siver.  Shortly after the result, McGregor ran into the crowd and confronted UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo, who will be facing McGregor for the title next.

Donald Cerrone’s streak stayed alive and was extended to seven in a row, with a very close and exciting unanimous decision victory over former lightweight titleholder Benson Henderson.

Also on the main card, Uriah Hall picked up a win and Gleison Tibau kept his winning ways on track with a split decision over Norman Parke.

As always, UFC officials gave out four post-fight bonuses worh $50,000 each; two for ‘Fight of the Night’ and two for ‘Performance of the Night’.
