A women’s bantamweight bout has been added to UFC Fight Night 62, as Amanda Nunes is set to take on Shayna Baszler.

UFC officials announced the matchup on Thursday evening.

Nunes (9-4) made her UFC debut in August 2013 and defeated Sheila Gaff in the first round.  In her next bout she stopped Germaine de Randamie with strikes, also in round one.  At UFC 178 this year, she was finished by current No. 1 contender Cat Zingano.

Baszler (15-9) is a true pioneer of women’s MMA, and she made her long awaited UFC debut last August at UFC 177, but was finished by Bethe Correia in the second round.  She will look to crack into the top 15 and pick up her first UFC win, against Nunes.

The card placement for the bout is unknown at this time.

UFC Fight Night 62 takes place live from Ginasio do Maracanazinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on March 21.  In the main event, top bantamweights Urijah Faber and Raphael Assuncao battle it out for the second time.
