A lightweight battle is set for UFC Fight Night 65, as two TUF combatants face-off. TUF Nations competitor Kajan Johnson returns to the Octagon against TUF China winner Zhang Lipeng in Manila.

Kajan Johnson takes on Zhang Lipeng at UFC Fight Night 65

E. Spencer Kyte of The Province first reported the news.

Johnson (19-11) was on a three-year hiatus prior to stepping inside the TUF house. Back to back injuries had him out of action for some time. “Ragin” made his Octagon debut at UFC 174 in Vancouver against Tae Hyun Bang. Despite coming up on the wrong side of a knockout, the fight earned Johnson $50,000 for ‘Fight of the Night’ honors.

Lipeng (9-8-1) is 2-1 under the UFC banner since his time on TUF. Most recently, the China based fighter lost a unanimous decision to Chris Wade at UFC Fight Night 59 in January.

There is no word as to where the Johnson vs. Lipeng match-up will be placed on the UFC Fight Night 65 fight card.

UFC Fight Night 65 goes down May 16th from the Mall of Asia in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. The main event is a 145-pound match-up between Urijah Faber and Frankie Edgar.
