Flyweight’s John Dodson and Zach Makovsky have been added to the already stacked UFC 187 fight card.
The bout was announced on FOX Sports 1 during the UFC Fight Night 61 pre-fight show.
Dodson (16-6) has been sidelined since last June with a torn ACL which required surgery. He is currently riding a two-fight winning streak, with his most recent outing being a TKO victory over John Moraga.
Makovsky (19-5) is 5-1 in his last six outings and 3-1 inside the Octagon. The former Bellator champion is coming off a decisive victory over Tim Elliott at UFC Fight Night 60. His lone UFC blemish was against Jussier Formiga at UFC Fight Night 47.
There is no word as to where the Dodson vs. Makovsky bout will be placed on the UFC 187 fight card.
UFC 185 takes place live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 23. In the main event, Jon Jones scraps with Anthony Johnson. Also on the card, Chris Weidman takes on Vitor Belfort in the co-feature.
