Two bouts have been added to June’s UFC Fight Night 68, as Dan Henderson is set to take on Tim Boetsch and Ben Rothwell is slated to square off against Matt Mitrione.
UFC officials announced the matchups on Friday.
Henderson-Boetsch, Rothwell-Mitrione added to UFC Fight Night 68
Henderson is currently riding a two-fight skid, with stoppage losses to top light heavyweight Daniel Cormier and middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi. Prior to that, in March of 2014, he stopped fellow MMA legend ‘Shogun’ Rua via knockout.
Boetsch is coming off a stoppage loss to top 10 middleweight Thales Leites last month at UFC 183. Prior to that, he picked up a TKO win over Brad Tavares in August.
Rothwell is coming off the biggest MMA win of his career, a first-round TKO over Alistair Overeem last September.
Mitrione has looked the best he’s ever looked, most recently stopping Gabriel Gonzaga in December at UFC on FOX 13. Prior to that, he stopped Derrick Lewis in September.
UFC Fight Night 68 takes place live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on June 6.
