Two matchups have been added to UFC Fight Night 68. In a heavyweight clash, Derrick Lewis looks to make it two in-a-row against always dangerous Shawn Jordan. In welterweight action, Alan Jouban looks to pick up his third UFC victory against MMA veteran Brian Ebersole.
Lewis vs. Jordan, Jouban vs. Ebersole added to UFC Fight Night 68
Lewis (12-3, 1 NC) made a debut in the UFC with a bang, a first round stoppage over Jack May. He then quickly stopped Guto Inocente at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale in July, but his hype-train was de-railed last September when he suffered a knockout loss to Matt Mitrione. He rebounded last weekend with a second-round TKO over Ruan Potts.
Jordan (17-6) has had eight appearances inside the Octagon, and in five of them he’s walked out victorious. Like Lewis, he owns a win over May, and also a loss to Mitrione. Most recently, he stopped Jared Cannonier in January at UFC 182.
Jouban (11-3) most recently picked up a first-round stoppage win over Richard Walsh at UFC 184 last weeked. Prior to that, he suffered a very controversial loss to Warlley Alves in November.
Ebersole (51-16-1, 1 NC) snapped a two-fight skid last September with a close decision win over John Howard. Prior to that, he suffered decision losses to James Head and Rick Story, in 2012 and 2013.
The card placement for these bouts is unknown at this time.
UFC Fight Night 68 takes place live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA on June 6. In the main event, Daniel Cormier takes on Ryan Bader in a light heavyweight clash.
