A heavyweight tussle has been added to the ONE: Valor of Champions fight card on April 24, as Paul “Typhoon” Cheng takes on Irog Subora.
ONE Championship officials announced the latest match-up on Tuesday.
ONE: Valor of Champions adds Paul Cheng vs Igor Subora
In January, Subora called out the Clinch MMA product via his official Twitter page, despite losing his promotional debut against Brandon Vera — his wish came true.
Cheng (5-1) is riding a four-fight winning streak, however hasn’t seen action since July 2014. In his most recent outing, he TKO’d Mahmoud Hassan at ONE FC 18. All four of the Canadian’s most recent victories have come via stoppage.
Subora (5-2) was on a five-fight winning run before losing his most recent bout to Vera. The Ukraine native lost his professional debut and then went on to win five straight with the URCC promotion.
ONE: Valor of Champions goes down on April 24, 2015 from the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines.
