In the main event, UFC veteran Demian Maia grinded out Ryan LaFlare, winning a dominant unanimous decision victory. He handed LaFlare his first professional career loss.
In the co-feature, Erick Silva stopped Josh Koscheck in the first round via submission. This extended his winning streak for the first time in his promotional career to two in-a-row.

Also on the card, Leonardo Santos picked up a stoppage win over Tony Martin, and Amanda Nunes stopped Shayna Baszler in the first round.
As always, UFC officials gave out four post-fight bonuses, worth $50,000 each.
