UFC Fight Night 72 has a main event.
Frank Mir is set to take on Todd Duffee in a five-round heavyweight clash at the UFC’s San Diego show later this summer.

The matchup was confirmed on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight.
Mir (17-9) got back on track in February with a shocking first-round knockout over former title challenger Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva, which snapped a four-fight skid. That losing streak included stoppage losses to former champ Junior dos Santos and Josh Barnett and decision losses to Daniel Cormier and Alistair Overeem.
Duffee (9-2) returned from a two year layoff last December and stopped Anthony Hamilton in the first round, at UFC 181. He has a promotional record of 3-1, and will look to crack into the UFC heavyweight division’s top 15 with a win over the former titleholder.
UFC Fight Night 72 takes place live from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA on July 15.
