Report: Madison Square Garden booked on December 5 for UFC 194
According to a report from Newsday, the UFC has booked Madison Square Garden in New York City for UFC 194 on December 5. Interestingly enough, MMA is yet to be legal in New York.
“We have a date,” UFC President Dana White told Newsday. “You know we’re going to have a lot of New Yorkers fighting on the New York card,” White said. “We do that in every market we go in. Plus, the first ever at the Garden, I mean, some of these guys’ dreams are to fight at the Garden.”

This wasn’t the first time the Zuffa head announced a New York stop. Last month White told AXS TV’s Inside MMA that he was very confident in the December stop.
In June the bill heads to Assembly, so time will only tell.
This weekend the UFC is in New Jersey for UFC on FOX 15.
