Unfortunately for Steve Bosse, he will have to stay retired for a little bit longer. UFC officials have confirmed that Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will in fact be able to compete at UFC 186 against Fabio Maldonado.

A court injunction that was placed earlier this month by the New Jersey State was lifted on Tuesday.

“We are happy with the decision from the New Jersey Court allowing Rampage to fight in Montreal this Saturday night,” UFC President Dana White said. “I am looking forward to seeing Rampage back in the Octagon.”

Rampage (35-11) was re-signed by the UFC in December after a brief stint with Bellator MMA. Since leaving the UFC, Jackson went 3-0 under the Bellator banner, with his latest victory being a decision win against Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal.

Maldonado (22-7) is coming off a second round TKO against Hans Stringer at UFC 179 in October.

Rampage-Maldonado was set as the co-main event, but when Jackson was removed from the card Michael Bisping vs. C.B. Dollaway was moved to the co-feature slot.  The former champion vs. the Brazilian is back serving as the co-headliner.

UFC 186 goes down on April 25 from the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec. In the main event, UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson puts his belt on the line against Kyoji Horiguchi.

Bosse will no longer compete at UFC 186 in Montreal.  It is unknown if Bosse will remain in the promotion or not, and if he will be, when his debut will be rescheduled to.  Stay tuned to MMASucka.com for that.
