On Tuesday evening, UFC President Dana White joined FOX Sports Live to announce that Jon Jones had been stripped of his UFC light heavyweight championship.
The news came two days after he crashed into a pregnant woman’s car and fled the scene.
A match for the vacant championship will be announced in the coming days.
